Easy Pesto

  • 1 cup packed fresh basil
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (or parmesan if SCD)


  • Place all of the ingredients in a good processor or blend and pulse until broken into a thick smooth consistency.
